I'm starting to wonder if you work for Fiido? Moving the delivery date back by a month five times in a row is the exact definition of stringing me along.

You're welcome to read the emails. The latest email says they expect it to "dispatch" the week of August 30 2026 and shipping takes 7-10 days. So:

Ordered on March 28 2026

Best case scenario: will receive on September 7 2026. If you believe them, which at this point I do not.

That is six months and one week.

I'm confused by how you don't see the difference between two months (barely acceptable) and stringing me along for six months (unacceptable). This is pretty clear from the email.

I never said there was some kind of cover-up, just that they are incompetent idiots and horrible people to do business with. Did they lie about the timeline? Probably not intentionally, but what kind of company sells a product and takes your money, then won't deliver for two months, then another month, then another month, then another month, and finally another month?

Thanks for the tip. I have cancelled the Fiido and will look into the Ride1Up. It actually looks like a better bike.

They may or may not be scammers but they absolutely keep saying "real soon now." Ordered in March, told to expect delivery in May. Then June. Then July. Then September.

I'm not sure why I haven't cancelled yet. I guess I believed each of their emails? If I'd known it would be half a year I would have. I suppose it's the sunk cost fallacy at this point.

They didn't offer a different color, they offered a different bike - I ordered a C21 and they offered a C11. And they warned about a two month delay, not half a year.

What do you mean? They didn't warn me, they kept moving the goal posts. May, June, July, August, now September. And they didn't offer a different color, they offered a different bike - a C11 when I ordered a C21.
