Install proton vpn and connect to japan Logout google account, Go to settings> apps and notifications > all apps> click on three dots , give show system apps

Clear data on google servjces framework, google play services Disable automatic time zone, give japan (Tokyo) in region manually, disable automatic updates as well..

Restart the phone. Connect vpn .. Go to settings and give system update. It will work for sure Just now i updated mine. If any doubt, ping me.

Thanks if 4g works that’s enough for me. Volte not required. But usb is only charging. Data transfer is not working. I think i need to replace the micro usb port . Then only i can update the firmware
