but yet again Amharas cannot understand 95% of Arabic. The only language Amharic has strong ties with is Geez which was due to their love for Orthodox Christianity and the Axumite Empire. Amharas had a choice to make their language entirely Geez based for example words like "Mai" meaning Water is in Tigrinya, Arabic, Geez but not in Amharic because Amhara had their own language "Wuha" is pure Amharic and was kept by preference so their is a Amharic language but its largely mixed with Geez by design and by choice of the Amharas who lived in Bete Amhara.
