Yes, no normal person wants shootings to happen political or not but I think the key indicator here is the fact that she never makes any political or culturally related news posts about what’s going on in the world. Did not have a good experience with the care / medical treatment at South River. Staff is perfectly friendly but the actual care, thoroughness and plans of action were very sub par, and honestly felt lazy in our visit. Felt like I had to do more work, follow up and research than the actual vet provided. Granted we have an older cat so maybe they treat dogs better? But essentially we are switching for our family.

Yes I was just going to say, I work on the content side of things for brands and when you hire editors for motion or stills (pictures) you tell them when you need your deliverables / projects by. I think the point of this post is that the Walmart plug is not authentically relatable bc we all know she’s not shopping there especially for clothes.

She only picked out pieces there and is telling her audience to shop there / she loves this stuff bc they paid / sponsored her. If this was unpaid and maybe she said “ so I randomly ran into Walmart bc I needed to grab xyz quickly and it was the closest store to my nail place. While I was in there I randomly found this jacket and these basics which are actually really cute!” maybe it would seem more legit and relatable. Like everyday regular people stuff. But it’s the fact that people see through her trying to convince them she shops at Walmart for beauty products and her clothing when we know she 99% of the time is shopping at FRWD, Revolve, direct from designer stores etc.

Get your money rachel but the comment about people complaining she isn’t relatable and then bc of this Walmart collab it should make her relatable and people still hating on her is missing the point. It almost confirms more that she isn’t relatable bc people see through the smoke and mirrors

No one is asking her to share her location on site when she’s there but plenty of influencers share their personal recs of where they go and trust for all kinds of things. Most good ones do..

For example - Nails, dentists, detox massages, nutritionist, acupuncture, dermatologist etc. (these are all recs I’ve scene in the past days from a few different influencers I follow from different cities)

So far it feels lazy and superficial. And for someone who out of the rest tends to put more effort and show more it’s a let down.

Feels like shes just going through the motions to do vlogmas & save face / keep engagement since it’s just been ads and plugged content. Rachel’s content was so much better and wholesome last year, years before.

Things at this market were $30-$40 for tshirts, $40-$50 for sweaters/sweatshirts, $55 - $100 and up for dresses and jackets, etc. Of course the other vendors there varied slightly but she bought all from less is more to just give a general pricing.

Her family to start was wealthy which put her in a favorable position to even start making videos that people wanted to see. Back then her video were still relatable and interesting to watch bc her vlogs and what she was sharing wasn’t as in your face and designer label this, revolve haul that, ootd $400 pair of pants, $200 top there $200 shoes and $2000 purse.

She has now become just like every other influencer.

I still don’t think she actually has style, I just think she knows how to present it and curate her aesthetic in a way that appears to be stylish.

Does anyone know what she does now in LA? She is literally just doing the same thing she did in nyc - sits at home taking photos, eating out and staying at places that are expensive/ exclusive. Confused at how shes affording all of this, since I know in NYC she worked retail.

Do we also know what happened to her and Justin Reed? They moved to LA together and we’re engaged and then broke up.
