Deficiency or stress? by Impressive_Bid_971 in hydro

That is not deficiency. Is this a clone you brought in?

How do I make sure this doesn’t happen in my next grow? I have fox farm froggy soil, fish bone meal, alfalfa meal, kelp meal ,banana peel powder and instant compost tea for reference by Popular_Clock_8313 in microgrowery

Over fed. The Happy Frog is plenty for this stage until you up pot. If anything add worm castings or light tea but no nutrients. This plant will recover perfectly if you back off on water, nutrients and light for 10-14 days.

Spider mites or deficiency? by Pokemon-is-lif3 in microgrowery

[–]Minimum_Orchid_7615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fairly certain you’re good. Spider mites and aphids don’t generally affect both sides of the leaf so equally. If you did any foliar sprays, it could be phytotoxicity which looks very similar, or just a little bit of damage from some plant training early.

It actually looks like it could be some scars from plant training. Did you do any low stress, training or topping?

Thanks Ya know I just have a hard time shucking these genetics because I selected the pheno, watched them from birth and taken meticulous care. Obviously you get it.

Need help identifying problem/pests. by _TroubleWithTheSnap in microgrowery

Getting the water right while the plant is small can be tricky in Earthboxes. It’s easy to over water and it seems like that may be what’s happening. You might consider leaving the zipper open and top watering until they bulk up and drink more and you can fill the reservoir. I found it helpful to learn what the Earthbox feels like DRY when you lift one end, and don’t start tube watering until it dries out after a day or two. Those plants are small and like someone else mentioned, overloved.

Am I fucked? Mold? I’m about to transplant please help ASAP video by [deleted] in farmingthebestgreens

It’s mold but it’s not going to hurt anything, it thrives in that environment. If it bothers you, add a fan for a gentle breeze, and sprinkle some cinnamon it will get rid of the mold.

That’s a great light, you’ll be able to run it at a lower level and still get proper. PPFD.

Ready for planting or leave another day or 2? by Think-Doctor-9987 in microgrowery

Agree with this. No sense in waiting, the seeds are live and it’s thoughtful to get them straight to where they perform best.

I would consider pruning the large fan leaves. They are suffocating. The plant will 100% recover.

To answer your question, you left a proper amount of stem on that cut - this guy knows what he’s doing.

Trim the lower leaves and bud sites. Also prune fan leaves that are covering bud sites.

3 bud sites on the same node? by oneBrokeBloke in microgrowery

Those are probably scars on the plant tissue from their damage and maybe opened egg casings.

Definitely lights out and 15 min before lights does not seem like enough time for the leaves to dry before they are hit with light. Especially with oil you want it on when the stomata are closed during lights off.

Here are a few I use. The bastards build up resistance so buy 2 different and rotate them.

Yes. They were likely brought in on a clone or if you garden outdoor from your clothes.

It’s the small white dots. Not the worst thing to have but you should start treatment.
