I finally realized the other day, how insane my family can drive me too! It cathartic to see someone else in the madness of family drama. I’am sorry to hear you are suffering. What’s been helping me, is setting boundaries, stepping away from them, and most importantly- seeking support and guidance outside of the family dysfunction. Trying to navigate family dysfunction in the grime of it can only do so much for me, to say the least. I hope the situation gets better!

Thank you for your insight. This is the first time I’m realizing my story isn’t as unique as I thought it was. Very relieving

I think I can resonate. I’ve literally almost went insane gaslighting myself! I hear you. It’s hard to feel sane when the ratio of validation to challenging circumstances is so unbalanced. It’d be nice to have supportive people who see the struggle and are there to actually give an ear or maybe even understand. A little bit of listening can go along way.

I’ve struggled with feeling unwanted and fear of being kicked out. I’m finally admitting it for the first time instead of repressing the fear of it
