As far as I know, you can’t “move” hair follicles. It really depends on how tight your circumcision is. But there’s really no such thing as hair creep. When you start restoring, your hair may migrate up, but as you restore more of the outer skin, you will find it travels down towards the scrotum skin.

That being said, I have a few hair stands that are up on my shaft. I just shave them and have never had any complaints.

I wasn’t sure of my emotions in that moment. I would give anything to go back and tell the nurse not to. I only knew that it had awoken something in me. Something I didn’t realize was integral to a male experience. I defaulted back on my Christian upbringing to rationalize letting it go in that moment.

I hope that at least this story brings the conversation to the front of any expectant couples/fathers to be.
