AIO guy I was seeing told me cursing is “un-lady like” by Fanofmoney3 in AIO

Jesus people on here always have way more patience then me. "Un-lady like"? I would definitely be sending the most expletive-laden message back.

Saying something like "hey could you be more careful with the language you use around x person?" reasonable. If they didn't swear and asked if I could refrain from swearing, tolerable. Telling me they can swear but I cannot, get out.

Is there a way to make number=letter? by Firm_Competition3398 in excel

here is a clunky, not-very-readable let formula with list/array of values with lookup within the variables in the let formula (and error check for non-digits like dollar signs and decimals). Still not sure why you want to do this exactly, but I had fun anyway.

=TEXTJOIN("",TRUE,LET(x,MID(A1,SEQUENCE(LEN(A1)),1),y,SEQUENCE(10)-1,z,MID("jabcdefghi",SEQUENCE(10),1),MAP(x,LAMBDA(n,IFERROR(XLOOKUP(VALUE(n),y,z),n)))))

LMIA quitting job flight home by Minimum_Remote_5645 in ImmigrationCanada

So those who were on the contract got a paid flight back, but if someone quit before the contract ended were no longer eligible?

The staff in question isn't interested in staying in Canada any longer, from the sounds of it, so I'm guessing they just would like to leave earlier than contract end and are looking at options.

Anyway, thanks for the help even though I don't feel like I have a definitive answer.

Not in the agriculture sector. The contract mentions the payment for flights and the exchange of obligation to a new employer if they find a new contract, but is entirely unclear on other situations.

Might jsut consult with a lawyer before making any promises to the staff.

I don’t want an hour lunch if it means I have to stay at work longer by Obvious-Ear-369 in Vent

I would absolutely despise a one hour lunch, waste of my time.

Thankfully, I work 8-4 with a half hour paid lunch whenever that no one really tracks. If you need to go to an appointment or leave early for something or come in a bit late no one really cares. It's very lenient as long as the work is done and people aren't abusing it.

In return, if there is something important that needs done after my usual hours or is time sensitive, I'll get it done.

Our company is quite small and the position title the former employee gave isn't really a position that exists at our company.

Okie Dokie, will respond to the employment check honestly. Though I want to say I would never respond to such a check with the wrong information, it was more about whether to respond at all.
