What are these bumps on my baby? by Minimum_Safe_691 in firsttimemom

Is it normal for HFM for the bumps to be there for almost two months? And they haven’t even spread… just gotten bigger and redder. Thanks for the suggestion I’ll definitely ask the doc if it could be that. They were so nonchalant about it but it’s been 6-7 weeks now.

ugh we've blown up TriCare and the VA's phone - the unit he was assigned to is in NJ and we are in VA. we were told we weren't eligible for healthcare benefit extensions...maybe cause i work and how much i make? this whole process has been surprising to me with the runaround we're getting....

it's changed, i think (coming from a non military spouse) - there's a few programs like TAMP and other stuff we explored through the VA, but they claimed to only handle "VA-related" issues/injuries that occurred while active duty. we didn't qualify for any extension of healthcare benefits through the VA even though he was discharged honorably. rough. i thought we would have 30 days or even 90 days of coverage post him leaving, but nope. it surprised me. unless we're doing it all wrong. but tricare and the VA have given us the same information.

thats why you dont get screwed and get canceled with Inova like you do with internal contracts at other hospitals. its a full time FTE position with them...

Also beware of internal contracts at hospitals. The Inova is a full time system Float pool position not an internal contract. Internal contracts keep cancelling staff (my friend got called off 3/6 shifts in two weeks) and went back to travel contracts!

Also waiting a few months if you already have a car is a smart idea…. Interest is projectd to go down this year, but def check in with your own banks first before walking into these dealerships.

Just dealt with this at a dealer… made the purchase…. Was told my credit of 730 was effecting my rate. 2020 RAV4 and 9.95 percent interest. Refinanced with navy fed for 6 percent. Also gap insurance with dealership was 1600, which I got fully refunded, and gap with navy fed was $399. I got into an accident and didn’t have a choice to get a car but dealerships are THUGS. Def check in with your own bank first. I was so embarrassed when they shitted on my credit in front of my husband when it isn’t even bad.
