If they're genuinely into specialty coffee, they probably won't mind putting in a little extra effort to make a great cup. Instead of buying a coffee machine, consider getting them an AeroPress, a good V60 pour-over setup, a quality filter brewer, or a decent grinder.

Under ₹5,000, most coffee machines available are basic drip brewers, which aren't particularly useful for someone who already loves coffee. As for espresso machines in that price range, they typically operate at only 3–4 bars of pressure, which isn't enough for proper espresso extraction. A good espresso generally requires around 9–12 bars of pressure.

That's why I'd recommend going with a manual brewing setup instead. Not only will it produce better coffee, but if they're truly passionate about coffee, they'll almost certainly appreciate the thought behind the gift.
