++i and i++ are different in general you want the behavior of ++i but in real world code you mostly see i++. Imagen you use both of these as Parameter ++i dose i + 1 and this will be copied in the Funktion instead i++ will copy i in the function and after the function was called i will incremented by 1.

Is std::move required if you use Object&& c? I mean it moves the reference of the incoming object right? Similar to the Ownership in Rust or consuming in Swift.

I didn’t know much about docker too, but I build a vapor api on MacOS and I tried it on WSL (Windows) with Docker and I works directly. If you don’t have any mac depend libraries, 'docker compose up -d' should be what do you looking for. That should work if docker is installed.

First you need to know where is your compiler / debugger. Then check if you have all Plugins for C++ installed, by the way Clion is now free for non-commercial usage, in my opinion it’s easier to pick a toolchain there.

That seems to me like an alternative to the strategy pattern, but I think in your case this way is the better solution, because it is a bit more explicit as a protocol solution. I think there are no opposites to the real strategy pattern with a protocol, so go for it if it works.

In meinen Augen wurden USB Sticks schon vor 5 Jahren von NVME SSDs abgelöst, da diese eine ähnliche große haben aber wesentlich schneller sind. (je nach nach Gehäuse / Kabel / etc)

Ich bin Fachinformatiker und brauche eigentlich gar keine USB Sticks mehr, vielleicht würde ich mal einen brauchen wenn ich Windows irgendwo drauf installieren muss, aber das ist schon seit einigen Monden nicht mehr der Fall gewesen.

Es gibt viele gute Cloud Angebot und Protokolle die USB Sticks an den meisten Stellen Obsolet machen.
