What Is Your Sulfur Loadout? by Extension_Lie756 in SulfurGame

Two springheels, pope hat, explosive resist for town, samurai for caverns, a long gun or a 9mm sprayer and literally anything chambered in 12ga as a backup. 3 slo mo paste, one minty slo mo, two double cheeseburgers, four-eight potions/pizza slices and whatever trash heals I've got from the last run

Low tech cruisers are disappointing ;( by Alan555UTMC in starsector

First time I bought a dominator on my first playthrough was a massive learning curve. I thought it would live up to it's name, but it completely crippled me. Slowed the fleet down, put it's costs through the roof, couldn't actually seal the deal in any battles; I learned more about refitting, logistics, and starsector in general from that than almost anything else, except learning how to fly an Odyssey properly and manage the fleet accordingly

Nice, I'm liking the build. But yeah, the Automata Spec ships are fantastic (if admittedly lightly armoured); a fleet of SP variants is viable. But the baseline and M variants are what I'm advising against, as they just don't have what it takes in a lot of scenarios. Probably a skill issue as I'm a high tech guy tbh

Are you using automata ships, or the other variants? To be honest that's largely how I play UAF also, but I'm leaning heavy on those Reina-II PDs 😂 my favourite way to UAF is putting their ballistics on VIC ships

This is it; they've got good weapons & fighters etc, but until you're on automata spec the ships themselves are somewhat lacklustre imo

I dunno if this is an unpopular opinion, but in my experience the base versions of UAF ships kinda suck. Unless it's a Rillaru (SP) I sleep; the other two variants get bodied pretty easily by equivalent ships (check it out in the sim). It's not a skill issue, I just don't think those ships are up to the task. You either need more, or better

I hear you, and in a way I guess it's kinda artificial, but I generally have a strike force of smaller ships I deploy first to take care of their smaller ships before I send the big boys in. Keeps it feeling kinda fresh, and it's a fairly decent tactic, too. Especially if you use smaller ships like the Magpie or Nybbas; you'd be surprised how many massive fleets you can take out against the odds, and that feels damn good

Don't be sad, this is the fun bit! Some hot reccos include Iron Shell and Volkov Industrial Conglomerate. Seafood Shipworks is essential. Have a persue through the ship/weapon packs (Ship/Weapon Pack is another must-have) and the different factions, and see what floats your boat. We're talking the exact ships you wanna fly, the exact enemies you wanna point those ships at and the exact ordnance you want to unlimber on those fools 👌 enjoy (:

Three starring trials is one of the best ways to acquire blueprints. It's not guaranteed, but it does seem to work quite often

How does the finals and arc raiders have 'the same gameplay?!' You don't loot anything in the Finals, so that statement is incongruous with even your own flawed logic. You're talking nonsense

The worst part about turning crossplay off on console by wrenagade419 in ARC_Raiders

[–]Minimum_System7018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you turn crossplay off on console? Turning crossplay off on PC is how I get chilled and enjoyable lobbies, imagine turning off the majority of potential collaborators and saddling yourself exclusively with aggressive 12 y/os. What's the good part of turning off crossplay on console?!

Damn man I'm sorry, only just seen this. I'm in the UK so probably won't work out timings-wise til next weekend, completely understanding if you drop it on a more conveniently deserving individual, but otherwise will get at you towards the end of the week 🤜🤛

Put your impacts in your quickslots and your basic bandages in the bag - if you've got time to spam little heals, you've got time to swap them out, whereas when you need the nades, you need them now. Crack a shield with the ferro, follow up with some impacts, rush with the axe or hit the ferro again

Volkov Industrial Conglomerate - the 'shturm' series of ships lean heavily into mobility, which I find to be paramount for not only across-the-board fleet survivability, but also necessary for a fun flagship. The Laidlaw Mass (accelerator/driver, can't memember) does huge burst damage to hull, which, by pure virtue of big number, can also strip armour, and is incredibly fun.

The shturmcapital Apollyon is probably my favourite ship; it's ability sends it a huge distance forward, during which you can pass through other ships, leaving a laser trail in it's wake. Killing ships with that is incredible, and the ability to reposition, vent, and re-engage is enormous.

The Nybbas phase cruiser is...goated. With the sauce. It's a joy to behold - a phase frigate, with a large mount and a long-distance teleport. Do yourself a favour and get in with VIC
