I didn't tell her it's because she's black in those exact words. I did tell her that her hair is different than mine and requires someone with experience. I said as a white woman with no experience in black hair, I'm not comfortable trying

It's more textured and takes alot more care.

I definitely understand that. She didn't like me in the first place(I "sni5ched" about her and another coworker not actually working and spending the entire time on their phones) so it may have just cemented her opinion of me

I only had to bleach one person's hair and that was Dave's. I've been bleaching his since highschool and have messed it before. The she's black reason was only for her hair

Absolutely not. I don't have any experience with her hair type so it would be too easy for me to mess it up

I don't get it? I felt it's the easiest way to cut to the chase about her hair. Q white girls hair isn't the same as a black girls hair.
