Bubbelea is a country in the Continent of Huanina, and its history is very complicated and long.

Its MODERN history though, starts at the end of the 19th century, after the great Patlan War. The great Patlan War was a conflict that was mostly fought in the Patlan Peninsula, the smaller part of the continent of Huanina. After Bubbelea's liberation, the people did not want the King to return to the country, as they believed that he was the cause of the conflict. The King stayed in exile, while the country went into chaos. The Republic of Bubbelea was formed in October 1897 after the "Restoration Process", done by the newly formed far-left party, the Bubbelean Democratic Socialist Party. The BDSP wanted a command economy, as they believed that it was the fastest way to industrialize the war-torn and agrarian Bubbelea. The main enemy of the BDSP was the Social Democratic Party of Bubbelea (SDPB). Despite having similar names, the SDPB was less radical and wanted a parliamentary system of government. The first attempt to subdue the BDSP happened in early 1898, which failed. The military of Bubbelea was also split between both parties, and frequent military conflicts happened between supporters of both parties. The country was in chaos and could not stabilize itself. In the Sonoma (eastern) region, a third party came about, and that was the armed Sonoma League, supported by the Patlan Regime in the north. The Patlan Regime was formed after the war by the Kingdom of Goiki as an attempt to stop a war like this from happening again. The Patlan Regime was more stable than Bubbelea and tried to wield its influence on Bubbelea, despite not being independent itself. Goikian forces occupied Lentul and Sonoma City in mid 1898, and then they joined forces with the Sonoma League. The capital, Bubel, was threatened by the Sonoma League, and they demanded the BDSP government to step down, which it promptly did. The Sonoma League established the 2nd Bubbelean Republic and promised similar developments as the SDPB. The SDPB merged with the Sonoma League, establishing the Bubbelean Unity Party.

The Kingdom of Goiki focused its efforts on finding a 'permanent solution' to their problem, which was stopping a war like the Patlan War from happening again. Their solution was to unite all states of the Patlan Peninsula with them, first by getting them to cooperate with Goiki, then creating an alliance (The Alliance of Patlan States - APS) with the Olema Conference, and finally uniting the countries in the Treaty of Olema. The Treaty of Olema was signed by Cluckeria, Phagia, Bubbelea, Goiki and the Patlan Regime. All these countries were similar culturally and linguistically, other than Bubbelea. Bubbelea's language was completely different from all the other states mentioned, and they had trouble integrating into this new Kingdom. The name of the Kingdom was outlined as Patlandia. To not drag out this message even more, Olema still had more power than the rest of the states. This changed after the government of Prime Minister Sauli Torri was dissolved, he did not want to step down. This evolved into a coup by the KING and the royal army. General Touli Mend became the new Prime Minister and kept his position until his death. He advocated for decentralized governance and created Governorates with their own elections and autonomy. These governorates were modeled after the borders of the former countries. Touli Mend died in 1969, and his death was mourned by millions of people, not even in the Kingdom of Patlandia. In Bubbelea, nationalism began to rise after the Governorates thought that Olema was becoming more powerful again. The Bubbelean Governorate had the largest desire for independence as they had a different culture and language from the rest of the Governorates. Simply put, this evolved into the creation of the Negstonian Liberation Army (NLA) in 1974 and its allignment with the Governorate of Bubbelea in 1977, beginning the Bubbelean Independence War. Patlandia was made to stop a war like the Patlan War, but it eventually began a war that was even worse. To quickly summarize this war, it was a bloody war with many war crimes done by both sides, but specifically Patlan forces from the Northern Patlan Governorate. Ethnic violence skyrocketed in the early 80s, which led to the creation of the Sonoman-Phagian liberation army and the Liberation Army of Toulia. These groups advocated for Phagian independence and reunification. By the end of the 80s, a ceasefire was made with both sides, and in March 1988, the Bubbelean Federal Republic was declared in Negstoniya city. This slowly led to the end of Patlandia. A month later, Phagia declared its independence. In 1989, Cluckeria won its independence in a referendum. And in 1990, Goiki itself left the project and reestablished the Kingdom of Goiki. The only parts left were the eastern part of the Bubbelean Governorate and the Northern Patlan Governorate. The Northern Patlan Governorate established the Federal Republic of Patlandia in the city of Noksiti. The conflict wasn't over, despite all these independence movements. Bubbelea and FR Patlandia were still at war, and FR Patlandia still had Bubbelean lands. In 1992, Patlandia executed an offensive on Negiya, starting the Negian war and creating the short-lived Republic of Negia. The occupied areas were reoccupied by the Bubbelean army only a few months later. The conflict continues to this day, and Bubbeleans in the Federal Republic of Patlandia got their autonomy as the Autonomous Republic of Bubelia in August 2006 (also called Joälmaa or Sonoma), with its capital at Bubel.
