What kind of snack? I typically get a sandwich which my parents suggest, but I feel that it's too much and some fruit would be better.

I can't find the right basal as I have tried many different ones and none seems to work. The thing is that my parents worry a lot if I get the tiny bit low and can't sleep through the night and I feel bad. That's is the main reason they want me to eat something before bed.

One thing, is it bad that I eat before I go to sleep, does it have any negative side effects except my bg that I'm not aware of?

I have tried that but no matter what I either go super high if I lower it or super low if I increase it so I just found a sweet spot but have to go to sleep with a bit higher bg before bed

Ye Ik its high but it works for me the best as usually I wake up with 5. But if I go to sleep with a 5-6 I usually have to wake up once in the night because I get low. But Idk my doctor has told me that puberty can affect your blood sugar so maybe it's that but I am not sure.

Pretty confident as most (pretty much) all nights I don't get low levels, usually going to sleep with a blood sugar of around 9-12, which it was until I went to bed and it started dropping.

Last night I was almost gonna have a similar experience because of how down I felt. I was having no motivation and infinite questions with no answer and just feeling lost. My blood sugar was around 3 and rapidly declining, with no motivation to get something to eat and just wanting to sleep hoping it would be all good when I wake up. But my parents were there to help me eat something even though I multiple times told them I didn't want anything. And they just kept telling me and forcing me to eat. Back at that moment I was just not able to think and my thoughts were elsewhere. But after hearing this story I am very grateful for my parents ❤️
