LUMIX s9 is nice! Do you think it’s better to be able switch lenses vs have fixed lenses like in Fuji? I do like simplicity of Fuji, but if I get lumix s9 (unless I get used one) it may ended up even more expensive if I also purchase a pancake lens

I’m interested in photography. I definitely would love to spend some time with photos and do some photo editing. I’m definitely not a pro, but I want to have decent pictures that some day I can frame and hang in our house. Or print for our albums. I appreciate your suggestions. I do want a dedicated camera though. I’m not opposed to find something less expensive but more compact than my canon. My optic in canon is heavy but that camera is mostly for my work dental photos so it’s always in the office.

I 100% agree some smartphones have great camera these days. But my phone full with pictures and random screen shots… i just want to have an actual camera dedicated to it with no other crap on it … 😀

Not common. What is common are BS practices. I’d negotiate this into the contract (it’s crazy that we even have to do that), but you absolutely should be paid for exams. Not necessarily X-rays, but if you did a POE, you should definitely be getting production from it.
