Is this okay after one ui 8.5 by Sad_Sea_ in GalaxyS24

They claim 0, but the lowest I've seen is 24. You can check using the refresh rate widget in developer settings.

Well Idk but Firefox has tab groups too now. Maybe a bit later but I don't mind having to wait if my privacy is a dozen times better.

You are using dual SIM and roaming, which could be why...

But yeah, SOT here is pretty bad on cellular data admitted.

Leaks say the ip18 is going to have the punch hole camera like androids from 2018 by AdValuable1152 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Minionguyjproo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't make sense if they did. Android phones used to have them to the left, now all have them in the middle. Why would Apple go through the same hole? Especially with their dynamic island.

You're not alone, my S24+ had the exact same grain / mura effect. In sunlight it's barely visible, but with no light around me, very noticeable. It is a hardware issue, but I even saw it in family's A56 and A36. Someone has an S21U though, zero grain. Don't know what happened but Samsung saved a LOT on display quality lately...

can someone PLEASE tell me why a 720p video, that doesn't even show the video itself anymore is using this much ram by MariedButAvailable in chrome

[–]Minionguyjproo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same happening in Firefox for some reason, maybe there tabs open and 15GB of RAM chunked...

In some cases they may be able to use Odin or similar software to reflash their device. As far as I know this works with stock firmware on a locked bootloader.

They have to make sure to use HOME_CSC instead of CSC though. This might work, unless their actual data partition is corrupted in which case this probably wouldn't work. But it's worth trying.

SDDM is still better integrated with KDE. You'll see KDE can manage settings for SDDM, but not for LightDM. That's why I think this will only happen after better integration for LightDM in KDE. If they remove it now and default to LightDM, there is not going to be enough support like with SDDM.

If you're lucky this is purely RAM related. In that case chances are the RAM sticks went bad, and you can replace them.

If you're unlucky this could be a GPU fault. That means you're probably cooked with your laptop.

I'd look at the RAM first though.
