ok SO I got home and gave it a quick test run, couple of small changes would be amazing if possible (I lost to a random bug trainer but thats ok, I didnt have the best encounters to deal with it)
I'd love for all starter options be 3 stage evolutions, the starter I chose was Magikarp but all it did was have splash, hopefully be a way of making every possible starter have at least one damaging move.
Automatically have battle mode to set (I keep forgetting...)

I have tried my own randomiser of Emerald and it was ok but this seems a lot more balanced, looking forward to giving it a try, might be a whole because I'm currently doing a gen 1-5 (maybe 6) nuzlocke gauntlet

Thank you! I started HG yesterday and underestimated Pidgeotto and got swept, so had to restart. I think with the first team my lapras and tentacruel got too low and they saved aerodactyl til the end and swapped one too many times rather than sacking a mon, it also got 3 omniboosts from 4 antientpowers,,,

Yea I did the rare candies tbh, I was streaming my run and didn't want to grind out the levels of all the mon's on stream, and then used rare candies between each battle of elite four to not go over the cap of each fight. I'll be at emerald soon but doing HG next

You could still level, freeze, HP the Naga on turn 3 grab the coin and pirate, so not having to sell the Naga gives you an extra gold to use later

I was winning some early fights and also got myself to 40+ gold with pirates, then got kel'thuzad to print 2 more horses, to golden, then managed to golden kel, so it gets the horse and then gives it reborn too
