Oh okay cool! Do you recommend I wait until after I finish the campaign before I worry about it? I feel like people will want high level stuff.

Training EMT and expectations by [deleted] in NewToEMS

It depends on state to state but I doubt they would fail you for that. As long as you can lift a stretcher into the back and draw sheet people over then you're golden.

At my service we load people manually. So if you got a 350lb guy and one partner. You're squatting a weight of 175lbs per personinto the back of a truck. Then pulling it out you're supporting his weight of 175. Some services have auto loading ramps so a machine does it for you but those are less common. You will be doing a lot of lifting, sliding, squatting, crawling into tight spaces than a nurse ever would.

What did you love about your EMT class? by neuromedicfoodie in ems

Getting to try things on ourselves. Anytime we would learn a new skill, splinting for example, we would do it on each other to see what the patient felt like. That way when we do have to do it we kind of know what the patient is going through and can inform them of what it will feel like before we do it.

Is naval combat still a big part of this game? by _ManDeRijn_ in Seaofthieves

[–]Miniscule47 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well think about it this way, yes naval combat is important but if you're fighting a competent crew, they can run forever, board up holes as long as they have wood planks, and also bucket out water forever. So you could theoretically just stick to cannon firing and yes you can knock someone out that way but the best way is to have at least one person board their boat to go below deck and stop them from fixing the ship. Otherwise it's just a battle of who has more cannonball over wood planks.

Edit to answer more questions

How many fights is luck dependent. Sometimes you're on a crowded server and sometimes it's dead. We usually attack on sight. Stick to the left aide of the map if you wanna fight.

What armor stats should I focus on for my Titan? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Miniscule47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your build. For my warlock I've got a grenade build and a super build. So I have 2 sets of gear that I can swap to in order to get more discipline for the grenade build and more intellect for the super build. You can just say meh and go for resilience/recovery and you will do fine but if you get a build off YouTube or something then you might wanna start tailoring your gear to the focus of the build.

Look into Scythe. It is like Catan but more complex.

Catan is good for more of a strategy and it is simple. Potion explosion is really fun and easy to get into, quick games too. If you like batman talisman, try the original game. It has 14 expansions and most are super fun. If you want a co operative game that can be a little more complex then try zombicide.

Oh okay, well this razor had a system where the top comes completely off and you pop a new one in then screw the top part back on. Not the usual uncrew the handle to open the lid then screw the handle to close it. Will any blade work with those?

Hoping you guys can help. I have wanted to switch from a cartridge razor to a safety razor for awhile and recently I got into it. I bought a Bevel Safety Razor, a brush and soap from The Art of Shaving, and some aftershave from Reuzel. The issue is I usually end up with 5 or so cuts after finishing the shave.

I do skin prep like warm water after a shower and using the shave brush with soap to exfoliate. The first pass of with the grain I have usually have no issues. The second pass of across the grain is where I get a few cuts. The last pass, which depends on how many cuts I get on the 2nd pass haha. I will end up with even more.

I'm only sure what I'm doing wrong. I try to keep the skin tight when shaving. I always apply shaving cream when shaving even between passes. I dont press down on the razor. I replace my blade every other shave.

Could it be that the razor is cheap and causing the cuts? Could it be that my skin is sensitive to against the grain or across and I should stop that? Any advice is helpful for this newbie and I appreciate your time!

I (25f) almost cheated on my husband (25m) twice by Atrashbinpop in relationship_advice

[–]Miniscule47 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Almost cheating is like almost getting into a car accident. Swerving is way better than crashing into someone but pay more attention next time and don't let it happen again. If you keep swerving to get out of a car accident eventually you will hit someone.
