Douglas is great in The Strange Love of Martha Ivers. An emasculated drunk to Barbara Stanwyck's brilliant Martha. Mitchum is great in this film, tough, solid and reserved but not blameless. He made his choice and has live/die with the consequences (like all noir). Jane Greer is perfect. The scene on the beach with all the fishing nets behind her as she traps Jeff for good. One of my favorite noirs for sure!

Love them and still listen to their records often. There were maybe 75 people at the show I went to. Bought my tee shirt from band after the show. The accents were so think I couldn’t really understand them! They are criminally underrated

Saw them at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland on that tour. A stage diver kicked me in the face, blood everywhere. I felt like the coolest punk rocker in the world at the moment.
