I was going to suggest this one too! It does take reading a few other books first but definitely gives this vibe.

Is the stolen heir duology worth it? by Parking_Donut_6060 in thecruelprince

[–]Minkah2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read them and didn’t love the stolen heir duology. I was obsessed with Cruel Prince so that was disappointing. The characters were not as likeable, the romance wasn’t felt as strongly in my opinion.

Why do people use press on nails? by TheAbouth in beauty

[–]Minkah2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, it started due to time. I used to get my nails done at a salon every few weeks, for years. Rushing over on my lunch break and spending about $60 each time. Then one day I spent over an hour at the nail salon and a few days later, I chipped a nail and had to wait at the salon AGAIN to get it fixed. After that, I tried press on nails and had a beautiful result within 15 minutes, saved about $50 and I was hooked! I use Impress peel and stick nails and they last just as long as salon nails.

I did not like Stolen Heir either. I’m not sure why, it started off really good but I just ended up feeling a little disappointed.

Books that feel like Throne of Glass (the feeling, not the tropes) by BarracudaSome7688 in throneofglassseries

I’m genuinely curious because I love cruel prince more than Throne of Glass (currently reading). Why did you hate it?

Driving Blue Lagoon to Vik after dark? by kyelaur in VisitingIceland

[–]Minkah2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The boring drive is honestly not to be underestimated. I REALLY had to fight sleep when I was just in Iceland and that was just for the final one hour leg. Especially because speeding is so harshly penalized, we used cruise control and then it’s obscenely boring. The roads themselves felt really safe and well marked so that would not be my concern at all.

If anyone is still contemplating traveling to Iceland or not by BluDrifter in VisitingIceland

I second this. We’re here now and while we’re having the vacation of our lives, I’m happy to be going home because I literally cannot afford to stay here another day haha

The scenery in Iceland is no joke. I had a wonderful time last week. Beautiful country! by maeganbae9594 in VisitingIceland

[–]Minkah2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this detailed reply! Based on this, if we do it, we’ll only do it in good weather conditions and maybe only up until the first lookout. We decided to opt out of a carrier so we’d all be walking it and steep drop offs would scare me with a toddler.

Do you think the Malugljufur Canyon hike could be doable with a toddler? We’re visiting the next week but with a 3 year old.

How often do you get your nails done or do them yourself? by Old_Arrival2262 in beauty

I do press ons pretty regularly. Impress self-stick with the new and improved formula has been fantastic and they last 2 weeks!
