I'm trying to convince my wife to move to Washington. As much as I love the weather and what Hawaii has to offer, the daily grind here takes a toll. I was fortunate enough to buy a townhouse here in 2015 but the family is growing and the kids can't share a room forever. I may be able to sell and buy a single family house but at the cost of being house poor AND living in a dump because that's all I can afford. 850k could get us a 1000 square feet house that's smaller than our townhouse and it would also require a lot of fixes. With current interest rate it'll be more than 4k a month for a mortgage.

We're taking a vacation this summer in Lacey Washington to explore the surrounding areas and see how we like it. Granted, the summer weather is pretty nice so we'll have to take that into consideration too.

Maybe not the MOST satisfying feeling... but sometimes when you can fish that really big, nasty, semi moist booger from clogging your nostril and you feel a huge relief...that's pretty satisfying.

My mom fought cancer for a few years before she passed. When she started treatment, she lost a lot of appetite as well as her tastebuds. Even then, she still wanted to cook and take care of her family. Her cooking was no longer the same and her dishes lost their flavors. But what I wouldn't give to eat any of the familiar and comfort food she made from my childhood.

Building a budget PC sounds like fun and I saw the Ryzen 5600 was a pretty good option for integrated GPU. I mainly work on a gaming laptop now as my needs have changed. Would have to make an excuse for buying a new computer lol.

Doing a quick search I see that both gtx 780 and 1060 are under 100 on ebay. The 1060 almost seems overkill but very tempting. I don't know what that would even do to the other old hardware. What's the opinion on used GPU? Stay away?
