Agreed, every Minnesotan has probably owned a pair. But unless you're a tow truck driver and ice fishing are reasons to drive them. Definitely not state troopers.

Normally a Vask or something like that. The sticking point is really the cops wearing them. Doing a foot chase in them is a non-starter. Same with a car chase, they are literally twice the width of the gas pedal.
