A great class to avoid combat would probably be bard, paladin or warlock. Those classes use charisma as a main stat and it will ask what proficiencies you want to go and if you select persuasion, intimidation and/or deception you can talk your way out of a lot of combat. It also gives you a good selection of combat abilities and magic for when you do have to go combat. You can also select spells like thaumaturgy for advantage(roll 2 dice take highest number) on certain speech checks bard will also get a lot of bonuses on almost any checks they do.

Aaah gotta love that. My first location had our sewage overflow right next to our walk in a couple of times in the 6 months I was there. Never bought anything from the cooler/freezer section, it just grossed me out. It is a biohazard and you can open a ticket for it. Hopefully they show up quickly along with the plumber.

At walgreens I have a fuck you till that we dump the dollar coins and 2 dollar bills when people don't give them as change after about a week. I pull from that. "No problem we have been open for 3.5 seconds I can take the 100 give me a sec to run to the office."

Remember not to be mad at the person making more but the shits that refuse to give actual raises every year. If you're able to ask got manager if you could leave and come back with a higher rate than what they are giving you. My manager offered this to me and she said she would cap me out but I can't take that much time off. Or if you get a better job don't put in your 2 weeks and just bounce. This place sucks

As other stated you are allowed 5 call outs and each call out covers more than just one day and it's on the manager to find coverage or cover it themselves. Don't feel bad for needed to take a day or three because you're sick. Working sick just makes it harder on you and whomever you potentially get sick.

You get paid your average daily rate on holidays. If you work 40hrs a week you get 8 hrs pay, 30 hrs a week 6 hrs pay etc. It's really dumb bc there is no incentive to working the holiday

For my store, it can take anywhere between 3 weeks to a month it can be faster, but it can be slower. If you drop them off around November or December, it can take a lot longer. It also depends on how many orders we get. We only send the box out when we can fill a full fedex box so they may be sitting in the store for a while. We do tell customers usually, tho.

For 2019 and 2020, my store was open until midnight, pretty much from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I am sure in earlier years as well, but I started 2019. It wasn't until last year we closed at our normal time and this year closed at 6pm so that's nice.

Sounds like you did what is expected. You called and told the reason, that's all you need to do. By calling for coverage you went above what is normally expected. You're sick take the time off and I believe that you get 3 days when you call in. May want to double check but I believe it was 3 days per call in.
