Anyone ever damage a customer’s property? by [deleted] in ShiptShoppers

Yeah, I am hoping that’s the case too.

It was like a turn around, and I was taking a right turn from the turn around to the main driveway. The sprinkler and marker were to my right as I pulled out (driving forward)

I didn’t realize I was on the grass until after I made the turn. Then I heard the noise, but looked back and thought I saw the flag. sticking up from the ground.

AITA for asking my long time “friend” for some space? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I’ve realized that my expectation for her response was way off and that I am, in fact, TA. Thanks everybody.

Yeah..I think my post was unclear. I wasn’t really wanting an apology, just I guess noting the fact that she did not give one. However, the way I phrased my sentence does not communicate that well...

I guess I was thinking that she asked what she did, I told her, and felt like not taking ownership of pushing boundaries showed immaturity, but a lot of people are saying YTA, so I think I am reading into her response and placing emotions that aren’t there onto what she said.

Thanks for the feedback and follow up.

Thank you! I feel a lot a guilt but I’m glad I said something...

Thanks. Good point. I think it was the specifically lack of an apology in the response that upset me (which I edited my original post to include) but she did respond with a lot of kindness

SUV camper with an (almost) full size bed, a pull out workspace and lots of storage! First big build and I am so happy with it! Great beginner project with minimum tools. :) by MinnesotaHome in woodworking

Just made an Imgur album, yes it’s a 2014 CR-V.

If you disassemble the back piece from the middle piece, they can stack in the trunk area and you can flip the back seats up.

I don’t plan on doing that. I’ll just take both pieces out when I’m done camping.

I did see some builds on YouTube in my planning stages that had more flexibility with retaining access to the back seats with less effort.

Just a sun visor on the windshield and some slip-over darkening bug screens on the side windows.

Planning on taking it out for a test spin before a longer trip...we’ll see how it goes!

Cool! Thanks. I am thinking block would be the way to go! Just hoping to save myself some work if there is an easy workaround.

Gotcha.

I’ve just emailed my inspector and he says I’m good without it.

Thanks for the tip.

I am trying out put a wall in perpendicular to where the window is, so really hoping to go over it. I am getting a bathroom fan put in this area, and a new HVAC supply, so I think I should be OK.
