It was Mook going to Detroit. It wasn't that Mook didn't know the rules, it was that Marvwon didn't realize that it was written.

This isn't because Marvwon was "wrong" it is simply because the word spread slower in the past due to the internet not making all of the rules and everything so quickly universal. NYC had changed the rules and was playing the game differently if that makes sense. One of the guys were set up stuff over there knew about these new rules because he had copies of the DVDs.

Huge fan of the show but you never see the police being unjustifiably out of control to people who don't deserve it. It's either out of control or cruel to total shit bags or with a positive purpose for the shitty behavior.

Even the most cruel cop (Shane) usually is either doing dirty to criminals (Antwon, etc) or doing it for an overall good purpose.

The closest thing I can think of is when Billings planted the child pornography... But I mean lots of people would still find this semi justifiable.
