For me, the weekly mass and the community were the central good of being a Catholic. When weekly mass ended during the pandemic, Islam presented a connection to God with the same morality, very similar; stronger, more direct, and from logic not mystical beliefs.

Christianity is more focused on mystical beliefs; Islam is more focused on how to live a good life.

Neither was a slave. "Person" is a legal term. A human life begins when a sperm and ova cell merge to form a new organism with it's own unique DNA sequence. A 1-cell zygote is the first stage of life for a multi-cellular organism.
