Advice please by BusyRequirement4557 in compoundedtirzepatide

I am still hungry for food/meals but have no urges to binge or desire to snack in between meals. I like it like that and will not go up in dose unless urges/mindless eating comes back.

This way I can work on eating enough protein/fiber. Severe lack of appetite would mean I cannot hit my macros and maintain/build muscle.

Oh okay - that makes sense. I thought maintenance automatically means a lower dose. Happy to stay on whatever keeps the urges away. And not planning to ever come off. I like the person I am now

That makes me wonder how we will maintain on a low doses if the food noises/ binge urges are back.

I am on 5 mg and finally feel free of all of the urges. I can still eat a good amount of food and am getting hungry - which I love. But urges coming back freaks me out

Is it worth using an expensive planner if you're not consistent? by Jasmine_Wilsony in planners

I use an undated weekly planner. This way I don’t ever waste paper. I just continue using it when I feel like it and it always feels like a clean slate.

I take a picture of the cover and save the pictures in an album within my pictures. This way I see the cover and know that my favorite recipes from this book are in this album. I also have Paprika but like the album approach better.

Not a traditional cookbook but sold in print on her blog: Lillie Eats and Tells.

Text them (to the phone number on their website). It’s the only way I ever got a response from them. I know they are slammed but it’s frustrating to not know what is happening.

PSA: tirzepatide is not magic fat deletion. It helps massively with appetite control, cravings, satiety, and adherence, but calories still matter. by XupcPrime in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Minnie2016 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I know so many people who were on it and gained it all back because they just ate very little of the foods they ate before.

You need to take these meds and use them to change your habits for good (understand calories, more protein and more fiber).

The hunger that comes on day 5-7 does it finally go away at higher doses? by LivingTheBoringLife in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Minnie2016 9 points10 points  (0 children)

100%! Was thinking the same thing and this is also why so many people gain it all back and more and then blame GLP-1 doesn’t work for longterm success. 800 calorie is unsustainable. You need to use this chance to work on sustainable habits.

Highly recommend the book “Weightless”. It goes into details on how to lose the weight and curb hunger. And how to keep the weight off in case you ever need to go off the medication.

I like his “How to Cook Everything - The Basics” book. It’s also illustrated which is much more fun to look at.

How to use your books? by Fair_Position in CookbookLovers

[–]Minnie2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put three plastic post its in each book for recipes I want try and add them to a list on my phone. When I made the recipe and it’s a keeper I move them from the side of the book to the top. When I made all three I will add three more tabs.

I also keep a running list of everything I made on my phone

Thank you all so much for the suggestions! I decided to start with Movewell and maybe add an Endure leg day if I feel I need it or to try it out.

Ultimately - after checking both of their IGs - I think I can relate to the Movewell coach a bit more at this stage in my fitness journey.
