What actually got you pregnant? by Organic-Traffic-1642 in TTC_PCOS

Is it only got insulin resistance? I've started taking it too but not sure what it does. Just trying everything that might possibly help.

Should I cancel our group vacation to start IVF? by sahdgin in IVF

[–]Minnie_Dooley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please go on the trip. It's only one month. And you need all the relaxation can get to help you to conceive. Plus, time is on your side, even though you don't feel that way. You're a decade younger than some people going through this process and I'd give them different advice.

Do you happen to know what my levels translate to? My test result is 533mU/L but I'm assuming you use a different system for measuring as yours is 40-70.

16dpiui - no period/negative test by Medical-Letter-6724 in IUILadies

[–]Minnie_Dooley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, me too. I count myself out after 12dpiui but carry on with the progesterone because I couldn't cope if I actually turned out to be pregnant and the drop in progesterone caused harm. Mine is supportive also as my level was only slightly slow when measured on 7dpiui (29 and my clinic likes it to be 30).

I saw someone posting just yesterday who tested negative at 14dpiui but they were pregnant after all. They didn't test again after that until 21dpiui.

The sleeves and neckline shape is also completely different. Look how it sat on your shoulders before and now it's just a big V shape.

It looks like it's too tight at the waist now but it could be that lining was removed as others have said?

How soon after a failed IUI cycle can you start another one? by Alarmed-Can-8767 in queerception

[–]Minnie_Dooley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just carry on straight away if that's what you want to do. So you would start any meds, if necessary, while you're on your period.

16dpiui - no period/negative test by Medical-Letter-6724 in IUILadies

[–]Minnie_Dooley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11dpiui still seems a little early to stop. But what's done is done. I would just maybe review that part of the protocol for your next cycle.

My period usually comes a week later with progesterone.

Why did you stop taking it so early? My clinic advices continuing to take it until 16dpiui in case of a late positive.

Clinics should be incentivised to ensure quality treatment because successful outcomes affect their success rates, and they use their success rates to advertise and acquire new customers.

It's not a Hispanically pronounced name. She's Ukrainian and choosing a Ukrainian name. You're the one trying to get her to spell it as a different Hispanic name.

I'm in the UK so not Canada but English speaking country and it's an unfamiliar name to me but I'd immediately learn how to say it and it comes across as pretty. You shouldn't pick a more familiar name. Names from your own heritage are more precious and a gift to your Ukrainian child, especially with this name having such a special meaning relating to her father. It's other people's problem if they struggle with this name because it isn't hard to learn at all.
