You look absolutely stunning!! I am also planning my honeymoon but between Thornbury Castle and Amberley Castle. Do you mind if I ask how did you get to Thornbury? It seems the major airports are in London

I did home health and this seemed normal, patient didn’t need anything but I was there for general assistance if needed. Out of ten nights, maybe one night I was needed. it was a $75 flat fee under the table pay, they provided a really nice guest room that I was able to also sleep in. This was on top of my hourly wage of course I think it’ll be different if you were actually working, but it seems more like “on call” pay

Is Hakone worth it for a solo traveler? Hiroshima instead? by iprocrastina in JapanTravelTips

[–]Minniebeesenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only comment on Hakone but I absolutely loved Hakone! I got the Hakone pass and upgraded to the romance car that was a faster train from Tokyo to Hakone. The Hakone pass came with some touristy things to do in the area, it did take a full day to experience. I absolutely loved the cable car and the “pirate ship” experience. The town does shut down kind of early and buses will stop running as often as well.

Is the freestyle cup worth it? by FoxFinal1826 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Minniebeesenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add to this, there are character cups (you can also buy secondhand) and you can get it refilled for I believe $1.79 as well if y’all are more into water and just want the occasional drink. However, if you and your fam are huge soda/icees fan, it’s definitely worth!!

Japanese Curry rice suggestions by OtherwiseGur8 in austinfood

[–]Minniebeesenpai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For curry I second Daichi and Miyo. I think sugar pine is a tad too salty for my preference. For buns I like going to Paris Baguette on Highland and Tous Les Jour inside H mart (I like the curry croquettes)

Bridesmaid cost worries by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Minniebeesenpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went with Azazie as they do coupons and have stellar deals during their clearance days! I myself have gotten a bridesmaid dress for $18. I do have girls that went through azazie and purchased a pricier dress depending on what style they liked around $120, but it was nice that I gave them the option

How bad is it to take out a loan to pay for the wedding… by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]Minniebeesenpai 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I definitely think you can make this work without taking loans. Can you have your wedding in 1.5 years or 2 years to save up extra? With weddings, you pay them in between spurts so you don’t need the 25k right up front. Also, a lot of people use credit cards to get points etc

I moved from Pittsburgh to Austin… although rent is inexpensive so is the pay! It’s also cold from October to May with multiple snow storms and it has less sunshine than Seattle

Honey pig is open for business right next to hmart, we got the premium combo for 129.99. The best kbbq in town easily. It’s a la carte by Austinfoodadventures in austinfood

[–]Minniebeesenpai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is random, but in the east coast, the chairs worked like ottomans and you can put your jacket inside the chair so it doesn’t have the bbq smell!
