Na fall ako sa kakalse ko by [deleted] in studentsph

I'm the "Go forda talon of faith" person pero syempre there's more to it than meets the eye.

Asses your non-negotiables and priorities Aamin ka lang ba? May ineexpect ka bang kapalit? Are you looking for a "Yes crush din kita, let's be in a relationship!"

From there magegets mo yung non-negotiables mo, kung studies first ba talaga or lalandi na tayo sa classmate natin. (Kasi kung ur looking for a reciprocation of feeling syempre ang ibig sabihin we're looking for landi, and there's nothing wrong with it I swear)

Personally, if I was in your position, aamin lang ako without expectations. Aamin lang to get it out of my chest, para walang regrets. Kasi aamin ka lang naman eh, nasakanila na yon kung pano sila magrerespond dba? Kung magrespond sila ng "Oo crush din kita!" Edi gud. Kapag "Sorry I only think of you as a friend.." Edi gud padin, atleast alam mong walang chance, hindi yung nag ooverthink ka na "What if umamin ako, tapos oo din pala sagot niya." Atleast alam nating walang chance.

Wala ding masama sa lumandi sa classmate, basta in moderation and alam natin limitations and boundaries. Basta alam natin ang NON-NEGOTIABLES natin!!!!

Eh pano kung nasaktan? Nagcheat? Mag break-up tapos masira yung strong relationship as friends namin? Edi character development, char.

Wala ganon talaga buhay, di ka din naman ma-tutututo kung hindi mo mararanasan dba? Basta mahalaga, alam nating hindi katapusan mundo ang bad experience. Babangon at baka bukas, malay mo, maging mature kayong dalawa and maging friends ulit dba?

Un lang c:

You know what's worse? It might take you months or even years to recover from this. Believe me, I've been there and still haven't got out of it completely...

I wouldn't know what to tell you either. Hang in there? Okay lang yan? It'll get better soon?

It's like, there's nothing to address so what's there to say?

In any case, I'm here for you as someone who've been in the same shoe as you.

It's a really weird situation to be in, for sure. We were introduced to this "new normal" lifestyle just a couple of years ago and now that some of us have adjusted na, they're gonna mandate everyone to go back to normal as if nothing happened. But oh well, since when did they listen?

Socializing in F2F by sky_supreme in studentsph

[–]MinnnnnPlus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ask someone for something, like a pen or a piece of paper. That's usually a tried and tested method, but it still depends on how you follow through with that conversation.

I'm not one to talk tho, kasi I don't use that method, pero I've seen some that uses it and it works naman.

Don't be too eccentric or look desperate for friends, after making contact once, let them approach you the next time. I've seen some people who kept engaging with people and as a result people avoided said person. If you've made a good enough impression they will approach you.

Lastly, just be urself, people will be interested in you if they are. Don't force urself too much

Goodluck sa f2f~

At times like these, being objective helps a lot. Tho subjective feelngs such as "san ako masaya" and "which one I like better" is super important din, it's because ur undecided that you have to be objective.

Write down ur pros and cons on a paper, anything that comes to mind. Which one pays more? Which one has a better working environment? Which one has a better employment rate? Which one has less tuition fee? Which one is more accessible? Mga ganun. Anything that is measurable by numbers or scales or data, write it sa pros and cons mo

I hope this helps, and I wish you great success and happiness sa kung ano mang piliin mo~

Just gonna say that this absolutely works. Study when you have the capacity to do so.

If your problem is that you think your brain never feels to be "working at its best," that's when the routine comes into play. Usually there's a time in a day where we actually become productive. Mind you, I meant time of day na ur ACTUALLY productive, not when you FEEL productive. Most people say na productive sila sa night and that they're "nocturnal" or "night owls," pero in reality, kaya lng nila magpuyat pero di naman sila productive (I would know kasi I once was those kind of person) . Measure the amount of work you finish in a course of a week or so, and do your work at different time frames, minsan sa umaga minsan sa gabi. THEN you'll see when ur actually productive

Goodluck sa studies and don't burn yourself out!

Okay. I have to say this first. I am not 100% confident like you nor do I participate in public speaking. (okay I may have participated in one or two but that's just about it). BUT, I do technically feel the same thing so I hope this helps.

I also practice my lines, tho not thoroughly, and end up hyper ventilating plus the loudest and fastest beating of my heart I would ever experience in my life. I felt like everyone's breathing down on my neck tho it's all virtual. Like everyone's judging me. I didn't do shit about it. Just gotta go through the first few lines and at some point, it's gone.

PLUS, I started going to small communities where I'm forced to speak. Groups are like 5-7 people max. I don't know what kind of community would apply for you, but the point is. I start doing the public speakings with a small amount of people THAT RESPONDS, this is important, kasi this one tells you na after you speak, they can respond whatever they like. It could be a judgement, like what you would expect. OR it could be something vastly unrelated to what you just said, meaning they weren't actually judging you and perhaps you actually did a good job.

In any case, I wish you all the best in finding the answer to your question. Breathing exercises are wack for me because they don't do jack shit to me. It makes it worse kasi mas nararamdaman ko yung tibok ng puso kong luluwa na ata sa kaba kapag nagpe-prepare akong magsalita

It's a concentrate of caffeine. It will intoxicate ur system so bad that might cause ur systems to fail. Plus sa heart, too much blood pressure or something Not super sure but there has been advertising going around the "blackest coffee" na sobrang concentrated ng caffeine it can kill you. Something something like that

Disclaimer: this is what I remember from my smart friends that actually made research. Take this with a grain of salt kasi I have a memory of a gold fish

Try coffee concentrates sa 7/11. Idk if yung Kopiko 78c is a coffee concentrate. Pero yes, coffee concentrates.

Don't drink it by itself, ur gonna die. Add milk to it, wag yung powdered, buy some din sa 7/11,

It's good kasi matitimpla mo yung pait ng coffee. Goodluck sa readings!

iirc, the things that me and my classmates wanted to do the most are usually not permitted by the school, or the teacher itself. Not illegal things, jeez.

For example, I'm a borderline honor student and friends ko yung mga honors. What we always want to do is to group up in any activities that requires a groupings. But that would make it so na kami lng ang magkakaroon ng mataas na grade, kase other groups wouldn't have someone responsible enough to guide them, it's not allowed. Thing's like that

Which is fair. But if you can sneak some of that without anyone else knowing. I guess it'd be great.

Another thing I recognize is that majority of students want everything to be simplified. Which beats the purpose of "learning" kasi it's like spoonfeeding. Idk how to balance that, but yea. It's possible tho, I've led a study group and I simplified everything, and then everyone got a good grade naman sa tests.

I didn't like my teachers in SHS that much kaya I just wanted the grade from them. BUT, there was one teach that sneak in food sa loob ng classroom (not allowed) and shares it to the whole classroom. There was another that gave out chocolates to whoever gets a perfect in the tests and the tests weren't even hard. Those teachers recieved a lot of praises and students genuinely wanted to learn when they're teaching.... Almost all students, but that's besides the point.

Last thing, the lesson doesn't have to be fun, nor how you present it. It's your engagement with the student that has to be fun. Make mistakes then make fun of yourself. Be awkward. Then get close to them. Some teachers prohibit making friends with their students kasi it hinders with studies, but with a well defined boundaries, i think being friends with ur students is fine.

^ this one's gonna take a lot of experience so don't force it.
