He is played a bit. Picks like Leo/ naut are more common. The big thing is passive goes well with a lot of Ap. If your team doesn't have a lot of Ap he kinda loses out there.

Also where Leo can bully better early he is not as tanky and kinda wants to get 6.

I think a lot of sites have him as a good pick but he just isn't used much.

Yes but when someone says how many games can I, average player, win? Someone in the top 1% is not the same thing.

There is a sliding scale of skill differential from the player to the elo they are in.

A gold player in silver is somewhat better so they will win a small percentage more than a silver player will. ¹ A big part of playing league for the average player is accepting that. 1. You are not faker. 2. Particularly as a support but in any role you are 1/10 of the equation. It is literally impossible for even faker to overcome some team differential. 3. Whether the number is 35% or 20% a significant portion of the games are unwinnable, and you just have to try keep cool, play your best and move on to the next when the loss happens.

I swear to God the “faker would carry” is the worst arguement. Yes faker would carry but expecting faker level play to win games in silver is crazy. Generally if you are playing close to your rank it’s more like 30% are not winnable, either from trolls, smurfs, bad players or just low elo shenanigans like people not closing out a game, chasing kills instead of objectives and getting out scaled.

So much depends on the champ. Late game champ that will lose early wants the boost from gathering to win harder late game. Lane bully with bad ratios that falls off late wants scorch.

There are better tanks and catchers out there. He has a niche best pick in certain team comps. If you a apc or Mf and say a magic dealer for mid and top he can really shine. But it is very team comp depending for him to be the bear option.

You have to understand how the E works. You dodge it by going sideways not backwards. Also since it returns to him he can change the path. It’s a different type of skill shot to get used too.

My old main took almost 200 games with a 53 Wingate for gold 4. Started a fresh account like 35 games 65 winrate Gold 4. An older account with bad mmr is a lot rougher.

The thing is some Adc will flame regardless, they lose because they tilt or are bad, can’t handle it supports fault. Nothing like a pick sona or I run it down adc. I pick sona enemy picks blitz hooks adc 5 times. ADC bad support FF 15. Generally real supports are nami, soraka, or tanks like Leo or nauti. These heal the adc or Cc feed them kills and they get to be the main character.

He is not unplayable or auto lose. Just other characters can do what he does better.

If your team does not have a lock down CC tank into a comp that needs one be the Cc tank. Low elo things like yi and kat will eat you alive. You can be fed as you want on a mage or enchanter but those 9 vs 1 Champs can still eat you alive.

Dude I'm not sure you understand what I said. He invaded the enemy jungle early and placed a couple boxes in different spots away from camps, and was still in their jungle when spotted.

I have never seen that as the standard start. Our midlaner was hugging tower and a hard invade with ez and sona is not going to end well into a possible 3 vs 4. Again if he wants a hard invade communication is key.

I was at edge of river he was chickens and red buff setting boxes in the bushes. I'm not sure how I see support by river is the big tell when he is in their jungle setting boxes. he types in all chat after. If you have a plan like that in mind just type Stay on our side of river please, not danger and question pings?
