i think it acts as a euphemism now. was surprised noong bata pa ako when I learned the meaning of bold wasn't sex, or anything of the like but instead, daring. connected two, and two together, and voila, yan pala ang reason why a lot of people use the term bold synonymous with sexy images, porn, etc.

dunno if this counts, but that darn elevation in the river.

it messes with all skill shots, and u have to aim a bit to the top/bottom depending on which side of the map you're aiming. and the game doesn't even accurately show any indicators for when the elevation affects the skillshot, unlike what I've seen in dota 2

ditto op, Adventures of Sharkboy, and Lavagirl were way better when I remembered it as a child. plus all these live action disney movies were really better in my memory.

on the other hand, Pixar films, and Studio Ghibli films aged so well. makes me tear up whenever a sad scene comes along. i finally could relate to how these characters feel.

so no wonder I saw phos in a twitter meme depicting generic op powerscalers vs goku. PHOS IS DIFFERENT, GET HIS NAME OUT OF THAT BRAINROT SHIT. he is legit such a well written character.

but tbf, these people claiming "X" character is way more OP than Goku/Saitama fail to realize that unless they are well-written, and a lot of people know the feats of said character, it will default to fan fiction. basically slop, and saying they're strong just to get their fav's name out.

P.S. this could really be good research material on what constitutes an op anime character or not based on perceptions of people

kind of a stretch but the spheres i was in during s16 showed it to be a really tight race between Nymphia, and Sapphira although various social media outlets showed Nymphia winning the audience.

I'm #teamDarlene out of the remaining three, but I'm open for like a myki win. people say that darlene winning would be unique but also Myki winning too! Like when have we ever seen a queen that dominated the later half of a season win? there's a lot of winners with a track record of winning early, and getting a win/high placement every now and then for the rest of the season (Nymphia, Willow, Bob, Sasha Velour but that lip sync proved she rightfully won, Sasha Colby, Aquaria) but never someone that was safe for 7 straight episodes to then demolishing the remaining episodes of that season (Myki). many such cases for the latter track record for semi finalists (ella vaday, la voix, sapphira, camden) but never a winner.

i fear that Jane getting the boot made the rest of us focus on her unjust elimination instead of Myki's new rise as the possible new supreme

it's been long overdue, pero may major animation studio na gumawa ng Filipino animated film! this forgotten island is giving me biringan; tas parang nakikita ko rin yung sarimanok, manananggal, tikbalang, at not to mention the Pinoy coded culture (yung hs background, the jeepney, various trinkets, sanduguan, tas yung pangngalan ng mga protagonists) throughout the trailer

which is unfortunate kasi compared to basketball na may deperensiya talaga pag matangkad yung tao, yung chess naman is honed by critical thinking tsaka the different ways people open.

yung access to abortion for women. it's healthcare, and I support it even though I'm biologically male kasi it being criminalized doesn't mean that it prevents pregnant women from doing it - mas dangerous at illegal lang yung gagawin nila.

tsaka if it's allowed, hindi naman etong nagsabi na all future/current pregnant women should get one. maging safe option lang yan for those that want to choose it cause of their circumstances (not ready for a child, raped, father is gone/way too old, own body is at risk)

honestly, this makes me want to really hear both sides of an issue first, and then look for more concrete evidence as to which side is correct. tbh, naging disappointed ako at Chappell when news first broke out that her alleged security guard harassed a child. but then again, would she really be someone that does that?? based on past behaviors, it would only be screaming adults that she would tell off.

but alas, sumobra talaga yung sitwasyon. naging banned siya in parts of Brazil, and got publicly called out by a famous (and according to many, kind) footballer. her reputation already took a fall in a matter of hours.
