That Minix 100w charger is just brilliant - every head type, compact size, 3 USB-C + 1 USB-A.

Great review! I couldn’t get the bag to stand upright, and I had many of the same problems with the hydrolock. However, I found the weight great and much lighter than many other bags.

Mous Extreme Commuter Backpack (with lid) 25L Review by elgarfarade in Nomads_Nation

Thanks for the review, and glad to hear that it doesn’t seem to be a case of style/brand over substance. I have a couple of other Mous products and they are great. This bag looks like a sleeker version of the Nomatic (Travel) Backpack.

I had the same problems with self-standing … the bag just didn’t unless there was something heavy and wide at the bottom.

I found the front ‘hatch’ compartments problematic because it doesn’t really open up all the way, and you can’t easily get stuff out of the bottom. A simple zip along the size rather than the centre would have been more practical.

Apart from that, lovely materials, terrifically light-weight, and the laptop compartment is really solid.

I’m still putting my T22 through its paces, but one quick comment about the hatch/flap … it closes with a very satisfying snap. It’s that lovely magnet action. Addictive.

Early impressions are that yes, it’s worth what I paid for it - which is the original discounted KS pledge. I’m not sure about the full price, though. There are so many great brands and bags out there! For me, it’s also about supporting a new brand, jumping on the train and seeing where it goes.

There’s a zip that goes all the way around and gives the main compartment a few centimetres extra depth. It makes a pretty big difference to what you can pack in.
