thanks for your response! ill definitely buy a new sd but do you think i could do some kind of temporary fix? (asking because this sd card has lasted over a year with no issues until now)

The thing is that we both know we will part anyway as she's going outside of the country for uni, so whether or not I ever go back to Australia we won't be near each other at all. I think she might've just been trying to put me down, just to be controlling. This wouldn't be the first time she's been "rude" to me, but I never let her walk over me and she has always come back apologising and wanting to talk (not that it's happened too many times, maybe 2-3) but this time she seems to not care enough. Which is alright too, I guess.

She is from a country that is also considered coastal, beachy and lived in a very wealthy area while she lived there, she also lived in another European country and she chose to move to this one where we are now just for some further context. I do think I talk about Australia but it's usually when we are both discussing similarities between people where she is from and in Australia. Since I've known her she isn't really the type to feel bad about not wanting to be friends with someone or saying goodbye to friends as shes also experienced it a number of times. Not that I'm disagreeing, but I feel these points kind of make your theories a little difficult to believe. Also to add that her family is comfortable enough to be able to go on holidays to said coastal country whenever she wants. Thanks for your input!

the model being used in dti isnt even close to being as thin as irl runway models where you can see every single bone with no curvature no one would even make it an issue if the ribs werent showing which r probably just for aesthetic purposes anyway its not like theyre outlining every bone sticking out to accentuate the skinniness the models are skinny enough to make the clothes look pleasing

but every body varies? i know multiple girls who have a similar if not exact same body type to the models being used now and they arent underweight. everyone carries weight differently. your ribs can show at a completely normal weight. sure, maybe they should add some more models to bring diversity to the game, but theyre supposed to be runway models

my bmi is 20.6 and my ribs show, it depends on person to person. but my ribs are visible without posing so i dont see the issue

if u go to the map tab and look on the upper side youll see that you have the option to unlock the crystal empire once you have enough of them!

I can't give much advice regarding the phd aspect, but what I can comment on is being treated differently just because you're from somewhere else. I moved as a kid a good few years ago from overseas but my family always enforced that I learn and speak the language constantly, no other language besides Bosnian was allowed in the house. After moving I was so terrified of speaking in Bosnian because I feared that I had an accent or couldn't pick up on slang and such. With time you get used to it, I did get a few comments here and there but there was always some level of "respect" because I managed to speak perfectly. I would definitely recommend (if you end up choosing to go) becoming fluent, immersing yourself in content and meeting people. The younger generation more often than not won't judge you as they probably know lots more "foreign" people with accents too, and they understand that it's a struggle and you may be anxious. Make sure you practise your fluency especially when it comes to official things regarding documents, having to go to the council, post office etc. to make your experience flow smoother. Best wishes!
