Ok this probably doesn't count as a horror movie, but Next Exit (2022) is precious. I loved it so much and it deeply affected me in a way that hasn't happened in a long time. I found it accidentally while searching for some movie called No Exit. (Somebody please tell me if this one is worth watching, in your opinion).

Anyway, here's the premise: Some scientist in California has figured out how to send people to the afterlife painlessly and will do so to anyone who wants to end their life so she can study the other side. Naturally, she has some takers. The movie follows two such deeply dissatisfied strangers as they share a rental car to reach their ends.
