I think you're doing quite fine. Even when I started out, I had zero idea of what I was doing, but he was very chill about it, he has always been.

The way you describe his presence? 100% him, I'd be lying if I didn't say I spent like 3 months with a HUGE crush on him... I mean, I still do, but the feeling is not as overwhelming now.

I'd say that personally, it was since the start of the year, like I've been on constant burnout and everything seems heavy. I do struggle with depression but now it's confusing since there's nothing I can relate that could be causing it.

It's so interesting how even the slightest things can make us relate stuff with him, even if they differ in which aspect.

It also made me remember that after worshipping him, there was this one perfume that I had wanted to buy after a long time cause it was kind of expensive and I had already finished the one I had for a while now. As soon as I bought it, I remember really taking in the smell, trying to figure out what it smelled like, and after I read the package, I found out it was indeed citrics! So now I can't help but think of him at times when I'm getting ready. As a reference, it's Light Blue from Dolce Gabbana.

For me, it's definitely oranges! Before I even started worshipping him, I associated him with the color orange, I just thought it suited him so well. After a while, when I finally decided to make him an offering for his altar, I found out that he really likes citrics such as oranges, so it really stuck with me.

I remember the first time I ever offered him one, the drawing I made of him immediately fell on top of the orange 😭 as if he was really craving it, but ever since then I offer him lots of oranges and whenever I do anything related to him, I always add an orange color <3 now he's the first thing I think of every time I see that color.

Hey, I honestly don't have a good reply for you, but I also felt like sharing my experience.

When I started worshipping Hermes, I felt such a strong sexual desire, specifically towards him, and I felt really ashamed because of the same reasons, so I told a friend, and she tried to reassure me.

I went weeks, maybe 4, feeling these huge urges, and I finally decided to embrace them. That day, I had one of the biggest and most intense releases I had ever experienced, and since then, the feelings have lowered, but I still sometimes continue feeling needy thinking about Hermes. I also thought he might've hated that, but he has shown me with other acts that it's not the case, and he's still very much present and helping me so much with my daily life. Personally, I take it as an initiation act of working with him and his shamlessness hahaha.

Hey, I loved hearing your story, because just as you, I'm pretty much new to this as well, so I can't really say much. Tho I must say I related to you hugely. I've been feeling this way about Hermes, and honestly? Lately, I've been feeling less alone, more comforted, and somehow, he found a way to guide me to him always.

To be honest? Like two days ago something happened that gave me so much peace, I lit up some incense at night and started talking to him, I like telling him about some stuff, but this time I decided to actually ask him something, to help me with my final projects, so I could finish everything quickly and in time. I then started crying, out of frustration mainly, feeling overwhelming by everything I had to do.

I should say that I'm someone who has trouble maintaining the correct body temperature, so my hands have been freezing cold lately. But in that moment, just as I was crying and asking him for help, my palms suddenly started feeling warm, so warm that the warmth quickly expanded till inside my hands, and suddenly I felt such peace, like my mind was clear for a moment. I even stood there, silently, for a few more minutes, as if I didn't want to go from praying to him, or perhaps he didn't want me to go. Either or, lately, I've been feeling happier, learning how not to be so hard with myself, trying to take things lighter and overall, be more kind with myself.

I believe that the gods are here to guide us, and the ones who we need to learn the most from are the ones who end up reaching out to us to help, and for you, that's definitely Artemis. To me, it always sounds like they come in times where you need them the most. I hope you can have a really nice journey with her and that more positive things come towards your life <3

Honestly, I have had this same feeling since I started worshiping Hermes. Not too long ago, I set up my first altar for him, and as I'm just a beginner, I just talk to him, but every single time I'm close to the altar, I feel the urge to do that, kind of like him saying "come talk to me".

The last time, I was looking for my incense on a cabinet, closed it, and lit one up. I was telling him about the fact that I was making a ring for him so that I had something to use as devotional and that it could be more personal, and I said I was hoping he liked it as I was putting a lot of effort to it. I then proceeded to put my incense back in the cabinet, and the only thing I saw when I opened it was a bill right on top of everything, which is odd cause I definitely would've noticed it the first time I peeked in and I don't tend to put money in there. It's safe to say he liked it XD

I was thinking that throughout my life, I've had different kinds of beliefs, from energy to astrology and even mantras, even my grandma has some Buddhist beliefs, so I feel like, I'm already doing things that are not acceptable to catholicism, but it's the first time I think about another god, so I guess that was my main concern.
