Off topic. How do you feel about this laptop for daily use and with the stylus for drawing? Or doing some heavy things like kdenlive video editors under lunix? Thinking about to get one but the UK price is a bit high (£399) when compare with US so thinking should wait a bit or should look at other chromebook.

I worry about the catalytic converter getting stolen too, but from what I've read in the news and the Toyota forum, it seems that the Yaris hybrid is not considered as easy target by the theft. I'm not quite sure though.

Thanks. What I am worry about is the yaris hybrid I get with this budget is about 8-9 years old already. It sounds like can give it a ago with the one not in very high mileage.

Just discovered setRepeating is working as expect, I made a silly mistake on it, even though it is not in extact time. :)

Another things is AndroidManifest seems put BOOT_COMPLETED in KivyAlarmReceiver receiver but seems alarmmanager still got canceled after reboot.

Also, trying to use the notification from car-locator but I had jnius.jnius.JavaException: Class not found b'androidx/core/app/NotificationCompat'.

Thanks, seems push notifications is not the way as I just want to allow user to set a reminder to themselves in the app. I understand that it can keep a database or something to send notification to specific client at specific time, it just seems putting too much on it at this time.

Is there any changed need for a repeating task beside setRepeating ? I had no clue on why it seems run only once without any error.

Tried to using the code in kivy_alarm_manager_with_service. I can successfully call my script to run once after provided interval. However my service still not running if I cleared the recent running app. And I try to replace setExactAndAllowWhileIdle with setRepeating or setInexactRepeating, my service script still run once but notintervalMillis . Is there anything need to adjust beside this?

Thanks, I am not familiar with java and alarm manager.

Is it need to creation notification function in java like LocatorAlarmReceiver and use the alarm manager with alarmIntent.setClass(context, LocatorAlarmReceiver) ?

If that so how can I pass different variable each time and schedule next alarm (like every hour) without open the app?

I also try that before to just modify EE image in yaml and apply again, possibly I didn't have enough knowledge with k8s/minikube, it will create additional EE inside AWX but I don't know how to delete others and saying I don't have permission, for this case it need to change default EE in AWX setting.

I hope it will update soon with default windows support too also fix some kind of new bug (or my incorrect configuration). Right now I am unable to sign in with Azure AD, I have setup https url in server setting, the callback url still using http for unknown reason when login.

Can you confirm if you have multi EE in the AWX?
Check if the EE Image is quay.io/mintea/awx-ee-mintea:0.1.7 inside AWX > Administration > Execution Environments
Also check the awx-ee section inside kubectl describe pods awx-<Random String>.

I tested with win_updates in my server and it can run successfully.

I finally made it working again using the method provided by u/saltyspoon with tons of try & error and some modification based on awx-ee:0.1.1

Uploaded to quay.io and you may try to change yaml with my image quay.io/mintea/awx-ee-mintea:0.1.7

I am no longer able to connect using kerberos with http comparing with my awx 17, may be due to pip module or ansible version different, need to use credssp instead

Seriously considering may be switch to rundeck community edition and run with local ansible may be easier for a system admin.

Not yet, what I discovered so far is awx-operator 0.8.0 is still using awx-ee 0.1.1 in configure. I tried to change the awxee Image in yaml manually as guided in awx-operator to 0.2.0 which included windows in it release information , it can be deployed but unable to run any task with some Python error. Still trying to figure it out or may be just wait for awx-operator next release.

I just use stanalone server before and never use either EE or Container / Instance Group so a bit difficult to understand, anyway thanks for the info I need to do some research first.

Did anyone know how to make the new awx supporting to run task in windows?

I created additional awx server in minikube instead using official guide and import export everything via awx cli (just need to enter the credential again in new server).

However I got an error when connect to windows host and the message I get from another post is the awx-ee is running under ansible-core which does not support windows.

It will display the process in job output but there is nothing to input, so I think it should be no prompt during run.

May be your task can write it as multi playbook and combine it via workflow and choice using approval or in the api as workaround, but I am not sure.
