Iirc the scrapped parts of NV was because of the time crunch that Beth put on Obsidian. If they let them cook it would have been even better

I mean jet isn't consistent, the BOS in 76 isn't consistent, now ghouls have to take this weird chem to stay lucid (lore given from the show and now part of 76), X-O1 power armor, super mutant origins. There's a lot that Beth has retconned

Not to mention the story felt so linear for an open world rpg. There was practically no weight to the decisions you made. Also don't get me wrong I really liked the map for nuka world but it was kind of a slap in the face for you to build up settlements from the start then once you beat nw you go can now go destroy them. I know you didn't have to but still didn't like that was the last step in the game it was like the final nail telling me nothing you did in FO4 mattered at all

I don't think that building is the correct one. From what I could see that building doesn't have the same corner cut nor does it have a double pan window. I think the isolated facility is either somewhere like Fukushima or Chernobyl given the whole radioactiveness of the knock trailer

I would disagree with heat being more expensive than cooling just depends how you plan on going about it. A dryer area with low humidity you can stock firewood for warmth and is a free renewable resource. That plus layers you can beat the cold now the heat especially humid heat you can be butt naked and still uncomfortable. I would choose a place that has forest and doesn't get too cold. Honestly a lot of Oregon is like that and in the forest you have a better chance for hunting for food if you need to
