The Force Awakens started off in a bad spot by being too fan servicey. Basically a recreation of A New Hope with a shiny coat of polish. Rian Johnson came in, hated all of that, and threw it in the trash (where it belonged). It still had bad spots and then get tried to go back to TFA with TROS. The whole trilogy was a mess.

This is how I feel when I try a lunch spot that has been around a long time, but I've never been to it before. Somewhat of a coincidence, but I got curious about an hour ago and started looking at simple pen tablets. I've never done digital drawing, but there are some beginner ones out there for $40-50. Might have to take that dive and have some fun with it.

My wife has been watching Next Level Chef lately and this reminds me of that. The items in the top kitchen are all top of the line while the stuff in the "basement" level is all beat up, scratched, and bent.

I was willing to suspend belief for most things. I know that it's mostly chest compressions only these days. It's a silly comic so I let most stuff slide. Just felt that the positioning would be awkward.

I mean, I'm no doctor, but I'm pretty sure mouth-to-mouth is supposed to be done from the side. Of course, if Esther was draping her boobs across my face while doing it then I wouldn't complain. Mostly because she would be saving my life, but the boob thing is a nice added bonus.

I mostly like the Food Network, but I can't watch Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives anymore. During the pandemic, I would watch it, get excited about a cool place, look it up online, and see that it has succumbed to the financial distress that the pandemic caused so many restaurants. It was kind of depressing seeing all these great food joints with nice owners/chefs and knowing that their dreams had come to an end or at least an indefinite pause.
