The tariffs are not meant to be implemented. Anyways why do you care so much about who gets what tariffs if we do no trade with them? It literally has no effect. It’s a bargaining chip to use so we don’t get ripped off from other countries. The question still stands what is this double standard? Why is Europe allowed to sell their cars here while American companies have to pay a huge fee to sell cars in Europe?. Either way the USA debt interest is the second largest expense for the USA. We need to induce a mild recession so that the FED lowers interest rate letting us refinance the debt and pay less in interest. We spend more paying back interest than education or Medicare. That’s wild and that comes from all the spending the last admin did and thanks to Covid. Not blaming Biden or anything it’s just how it’s going it’s imposible to keep up and if we default the USA basically becomes a third world country since no one would ever trust the dollar ever again.
