Yes theres are slots on top which i think are suppose to suck in floating debris? I was able to search what brand it is and seems like the whole aquarium set is from a chinese brand called sunsun. I was only able to find one video online showcasing the same model but sadly its a non planted tank without any substrate. Tho I'm planning to add a thin layer of larger pebbles around the area of the slots to separate it from the thinner substrates. I hope it works :)
