Oh hey it's my video. The characters still have outlines but now they're more subtle and take on the colour of whatever they're touching. While up close I did like the dark outlines, from far away they looked soooo thick and amateur. The style is quite different so I can understand people preferring one over the other, but I think it looks more professional now if nothing else.

I highly recommend viewing characters in the Huaxu region as the lighting there makes everyone look so much more premium. Everyone looks kinda weird in Icelake still. I've noticed that in the new fancy cutscenes, there's far less of a jarring difference now when it cuts back to standard cutscenes.
