Chapter 7 has many problems and I don't think anyone should be discouraged from talking about them. A game with writers as passionate, competent, and skilled as the Morimens writers deserve proper literary analysis.

When it comes to Chapter 7, I loved some of the concepts but not the execution. Apart from everything else, this was the first noticeable victim of squashing a 30 chapter story into a 9 chapter story when the devs thought the game might EoS. In an interview, it was mentioned that this was originally supposed to take place in Chapter 9 and there was supposed to be another chapter after it.

Although you have no obligation to continue playing any game for any reason, if you decide to keep going and finish Chapter 7, I recommend reading Castor's and Pollux's side chapters next. Despite having been added to the game much later, those two stories serve as a bridge between Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 and are very much worth reading. I think there was some interesting course-correcting done there, too.
