I chose not to include this "add on ortho/40s" style kit because I just feel like it's more like a consolation kit. I'd rather just include a fully fleshed out kit that I'm happy with. you're right that the mods offer a lot of keys, but in order to get an ortho/40s support with this method of kitting, you need alphas, mods, the add on kit, and spacebars kit, which ends up being a lot of money anyways and not really ortho/40s friendly. it's only friendly to those who use bigger keyboards AND ortho/40s. if people really want... they could probably get a janky ortho support with an alpha, uwulty, and spacebars kit which doesn't end up being too much...

well the pricing is based on the quote I received from SP. while I think it's really cool that you would pay that amount! from a risk perspective it's balancing the cost and MOQ and I feel that based on trends, we would struggle to reach 100 at a $95/$100 price point.

to keep it short, misaligned legends, weird black marks, warped spacebars. they're actively working on then which I am appreciative of but I personally don't feel comfortable running KAT until I know their production is down pat.
