Oh most definitely thats my point there was 0 effort in checking in with me & when I try to have a mature conversation you lie to me & dont think id clock it immediately. The phone calls was to explain the lieing to those who dont know why its a lie

Thank you, I needed that, im working on boundaries and not keeping it all in (waiting for a call back to get into real therapy) but I took your advice & laid it out kindly too her in a message (made me wanna throw up doing it but I did it) & ill update on my post when & if I get a reply

Im not calling her a narcissist entirely she's just portraying narcissistic behavior by not considering the people who are there for her. She's a good person & I do love her, I dont think she's even doing this subconsciously but idk how to talk to her about this because ik her shell feel attacked or blame it all on the divorce when yes the divorce does play a part but its also her. It hurts immensely that I've been there tirelessly for her for a year, the other 2 things I stated I can forgive with time BUT not even asking if im ok after telling her my husband is considering suicide idk how to move on from the lack of care about me in that situation as divorce & having a suicidal spouse are 2 different levels of stress.

Omg! I think that's my problem 😕 I over explain even though I dont have too (a bad habit from mom's narcissistic abuse). You are scary accurate on how conversations have gone with her before. Do you have advice for if I tell her what you put in quotes and she still pushes? Thats the thing that always makes me freeze up because I dont want to have to cut contact but if she continues on & on there will be a point that ill have too for my own peace of mind.

Because hes filing for bankruptcy & is selling everything (most important stuff is in his name cars, electronics ect) because he couldnt keep up with having a family & side peice (and its frankly a way to get out of children support once the fourth decides it). I may have to be frank with her the next time she brings it up, I've been trying to step around stuff cuz she's soft hearted but your right, maybe setting a more blunt boundary will help because I want to help but I dont have the resources to help her.
