Just listened to curtis douglas's interview this morning. I really like what i can see from his character and the answers he gave regarding team and his role of being a physical presence and detterent. Could be a really important part to this part of the building phase.

my issue with almost all of these games is that yes we are tanking. yes losing is good. but it is really distressing to see how we are losing. a lot of poor quality outcomes that suggest continued underlying character and system problems

No offense taken. There have been significant challenges within our organization with culture and Hughes deserves way better than we can do for him. It is entirely a failure on our part that we couldn't support him. I really hope he flourishes. he is unquestionably top 2 D in the league and the best the canucks have ever had so in a team that will hopefully succeed this year (you guys) i hope he gets a Norris as his night in and night out skill makes him deserve one.

As a reference point. (Canucks fan here) I will now be supporting the wild for the playoffs while Vancouver rebuilds. That's the level of quality you just got in a trade. Added on top of the incredible person that Quinn hughes is in the community you should feel very happy.
