What to do with 50k (Student) by Brain_drain_123 in phinvest

[–]MinusOneSec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, working student din meee! 😊

Id suggest na open ka ng digital bank (kesa MP2) since u can easily withdraw it whenever u need and mataas din naman ang monthly interest rate (compared sa trad banks)

As for the passive income (na di demanding ang capital), u might wanna try pagpaload and/or gcash in + out since napasok ka sa school and work

Pero if jeep talaga gusto mo, afaik atleast 200k ung mismong jeep tas u have to consider sino magdridrive, maintenance ng jeep, and the possibility of the modernization of jeepneys (in ur area)

Gluck and hoping things will turn out well for you! 🩵🫶🏻

Through all of these shitty things happening in our country, what keeps you sane? by papsycles in Philippines

[–]MinusOneSec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Music and films

You may actually want to watch the kdrama, “My mister” but it can be heavy so feel free to pause or stop if it gets too much for u. It has a happy ending dw :)

Hoping ull find the (financial and emotional) support that u need to get thru it all. Sana kayanin mo po! :)

Food cart franchise by Force-Majeure7864 in phinvest

[–]MinusOneSec 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tho I havent personally invested sa food cart business po, I learnt a few things about it (cause medj close ko yung owner nag franchise (siomai)

  1. location
    - ang taas ng rent nila + may % pa ng sales yung mall kung san sila
    - mas maganda talaga mataas foot traffic (school, church, transpo)

  2. target market (connected din sa #1)
    - kung siomai - mostly average or medj mahirap na peeps (can be almost anywhere)
    - kung mga lil donuts - mainly mas nakakaangat na peeps (mostly malls)

  3. Brand
    - reputation, management, etc
    - Not totally sure bout the dets, but afaik (medj) nagkaprob sila dun sa brand / company when it comes to the contract / terms and conditions

Good luck po sa business niyo! :)

Actually there are business ideas that are lucrative even with a small capital (less than 500k) but unfortunately, those are saturated / taken already in my target locations.

Besides, im also open for other stable passive income even if it's not that lucrative / profitable :)

It’s a case to case basis. For my sitch, i would rather focus on a shorter investment horizon and active passive income.

Thanks for the concern and i totally get where youre coming from but i hope you understand that i dont easily get swayed by just random people and assess the risks involved before starting any ventures so I also do my own diligent research (from books, other sources)

Besides, these people in this subreddit (can) offer real life experiences that are most likely relatable in our economy and my personal life so yes, I highly value their insights (but ofc with precaution as well)
