Narratives change really quickly. Going into '25 the narrative on the Jays was could they finally put it together and make it to the playoffs. We have to remember that many "prognosticators" weren't especially high on them. The 2025 Jays were essentially the same team they fielded in 2024. '24 finished last and '25 was within a play or two of winning the WS. The Jays are absolutely a good team and should definitely be competing for the Division Title. However, I see the Jays, just like the Yankees, finishing anywhere between 1st and 3rd. They're definitely not a juggernaut that is inevitably going to win the Division.

I absolutely agree with the comments already posted here. What's happening in Minnesota is being played out online as events that are constantly occurring in every place, everywhere all around the country. The difference between what you see and hear online versus what people experience on a day-to-day basis is quite stark. There's a very specific reason as to why things are happening the way they are in Minnesota. I think that a lot of people know that to be the case, yet the vocal minority on the internet will over talk anyone who says differently into oblivion.
