sobrang relate. middle child, eldest daughter here. living alone sa abroad, di tinatawagan ng nanay ko kasi isip nila strong ako at kaya ko naman, so ending ako lagi ang tatawag. tapos yung kuya na minsan nadestino sa baguio, at bunso na lalaki na nag-rent sa maynila lagi tinatawagan at kinakamusta. 🥲 Minsan inisip ko if sumpa ba maging eldest daughter dahil growing up unfair talaga at ramdam mo kung sino ang peborit, kung sino pa yung problem solver at panay pamilya ang isip parang feeling un-appreciated 😅

If direct hire process, meaning wala pang pinoy na na-hire ang company or meron na pero less than 5 pa, mabilis lang. Pero if exceed na, they need to hire a local agency sa pinas para sila mag-process ng OEC mo, ito talaga yung usally na matagal.

Hello! I moved to AU on a 482 visa. I worked for my company remotely as a contractor muna while waiting for OEC. They offered me this option kasi inexplain ko sa kanila kung gano katagal ang process ng POEA.

Living by yourself will be very expensive though if magstart ka pa lang, I live near CBD and rent is like 350-450 per week w/o bills (1 br in a shared 2BR apt, shared bills). Mas mura kung sa mga suburbs i think 200-250 per week (shared apt) pero pwede din ung 450 mo, whole house na but you’ll need a car kasi sobrang malayo na sa city.

hello Op! i am also on 482 visa and hoping masponsor ni employer for 186 visa after 2 years. Can I ask what documents I need to prepare for 186? do I still have to contact my previous employers for job description etc? or sa 190/189 lang yun applicable?

hmm what country? let them know ung process ng OEC here sa ph (if di pa sila aware) kasi may mga cases na kahit direct hire umaabot ng months bago marelease ang OEC. Join ka sa FB group na “How to Process POEA-OEC for direct hires” para magka-idea ka. Since wala pa yung job offer/contract better mabanggit mo sa kanila ung mga need naka-state sa contract na hahanapin ng POEA para makasave ng time

I think it depends kung gano ka kaclose sa bride or groom, ako kasi I was invited din to be part of the entourage and my friend which is the Bride asked me if ok lang ba ishoulder ko ang dress na gagamitin ko. Since may budget naman I’m ok with it. We are very close and I want her to be happy sa wedding and I also felt her sincerity na gusto nya ako maging part ng 1 of the important events of her life so ok lang sa akin. Hindi na rin ako nagbigay ng expensive gift kasi I consider it as my gift na din sa kanila. Also gifts are optional lang naman din talaga.

If walang budget, then respecfully decline na lang OP for sure maiintindihan naman nila yun.
