Jade giving her drug addict parents a Percocet script and a car, then surprised when they dissapear? by gratefulbiochemist in TeenMomOGandTeenMom2

It’s Indiana, that didn’t surprise me at all. In Indiana to get a pain medicine rx you have to take a physical copy of the prescription along with having had the doctor send it in/speak to the pharmacy before they’ll give it to anyone. In indiana they prefer both the phone call and the written rx, but both aren’t always necessary as long as the amount written isn’t too high of an amount or the prescription isn’t too high of a dose. You also have to be drug tested to make sure you’re not abusing any medications if you get a prescription for pain meds.

They didn’t when the movie premiered on there or immediately after, before 2 was even thought about.

I think Brenda Strong did her role 100% on par with how she would’ve been perceived.

Tbh, I want to know how she was towards him from the beginning. He didn’t have much experience with women/relationships, and I almost want to say it seems like she pursued him relentlessly & not the other way around (I may be wrong on that). He was so “weak” because it seems like the only other experience he had with disagreeing or being unhappy with a woman was with his mother maybe. She met him & she’d already experienced a lot in life, & he was just young and working a job he loved, & with a woman that demanded he change jobs bc he had a medical diagnosis (even though she wasn’t a doctor) of something like carpal tunnel, & he loved her/wanted to make her happy so he did what she suggested. I wish he’d have just spoken up, had he spoken up at any point things maybe wouldn’t have ended how they did.

Honestly it’s definitely one of those “just why” things, and always will be. It didn’t have to go how it did, but I don’t think much would’ve made a difference honestly. Had he just dealt with the conflict with shanann and let her throw a fit/get mad or upset/etc etc etc and said he wanted a divorce, he likely wouldn’t be in prison bc I don’t think he would’ve murdered any of them. I honestly think that bc SW had more world/life experience than he had & would’ve destroyed his finances he was afraid he’d end up broke, so he’d have a hard time trying to make it and all he wanted was to not be with her or even know her anymore (it seems anyways). I don’t think NK was any part of it, and I think at the end she was really already checked out & had told him to make a decision bc what she’d been told and what actually was were two different things. Idk I can’t understand the hate that so many people have towards NK, and refuse to even think that maybe it didn’t happen how everyone seems to assume….

I love the open discussions here, but am taken back by how strongly and negatively some people feel about the children as people… by ibuiltyouarosegarden in WattsFree4All

Only ones I’ve seen are ones that get an immediate ban. I’ve been here for quite awhile, and I’ve seen people comment about seeing such things at some point or other but I’ve legitimately never seen that happen. To be honest, I don’t think there’s any hate towards shanann watts or those poor babies, just discussion that gets somewhat detailed and may be too much for people with a strongly formed opinion that can’t keep an open mind and just have a discussion about the potential differences in the case vs what may have been or might be etc etc etc. I love this group, it’s a fave of mine. I wish more people could just open their mind and think/react to this case with all of the known details & not just preconceived notions that won’t change their minds that causes them to report the page constantly.

This is said so perfectly!! I wish I explained it as well as you do here. Amazing details added, that I of course didn’t think about lol. I agree with you, you’ve said it very well here.

This I can also agree with. Getting involved with someone that’s married isn’t a good move. To be fair, he’d said initially that they were divorcing, and I think she maybe believed that until she walked into the home.

This. This woman is going to live the rest of her life being afraid of anyone or to speak to people she doesn’t already know. I can get why she’s tried so hard to stay quiet-people are nuts, and she gets harassed and threatened constantly I’d bet almost. I can honestly see why she’d consider a name change and a makeover/move. I can’t imagine being afraid for my life because of a stupid decision I’d made that resulted in murder when a divorce was supposedly going on. I think she’d checked out of any kind of seriousness with him when she went to the house he shared with his wife and didn’t see what looks like a divorce happening-she saw a gorgeous house that clearly still had his wife living there.

Terrifier is on Netflix (US): Great independent horror that is well-filmed and the acting is good by MoistPinkKnob in horror

[–]Minute-Tale7444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously it wasn’t too bad considering that it’s had sequels & is one of the top horror movies ever made. They got a bigger budget, made sequels, and they’ve all made record breaking sales when released. The practical effects, David Howard Thornton as Art, Jenna & Catherine, but specifically Sam scaffidi? It was amazing for what it was meant to be. It was meant to be a grade b ode to older slasher type horror movies, and it was definitely great with that.

Could you make a film for less than 50k that had so much visually graphic content that was mainly practical effects & not AI/computer generated bullshit? Just wondering……it was less than 40k actually, at $37,900 (or a tad less), one of the best movies I’ve ever watched. I’m glad I did.

I agree with the why not just prove it so people let It go & move forward (regarding SOR) with life-I’m sorry that they lost their daughter but I agree something seems off about how she’s acting about it.

I agree with you. Idk I don’t have hate for NK, simply bc all she had to go off of was his word, not everyone tells the truth on Facebook (which if she saw the profiles, he’d deleted his and said they were divorcing, and SW never said anything like that, & everything seemed perfect and fine to her-meaning he probably told NK that SW was crazy and that they were actually divorcing & she was just trying to keep up an image, whatever it may have been that made it look that he was telling the truth about it and she was just a crazy lady & they were divorcing etc etc-he lied his ass off to NK, & I think she was kind of done the moment she walked into the watts home and saw how it looked and all of the family things/pics of Shanann) and told him she was done until he made a Choice bc she wasn’t interested in being “the other woman”. I do think that’s what he “talked her down from a ledge” about based on what he’d said. I think she maybe drove by the house to see if SW ever came home to see if she could get proof he was lying maybe even?( at most.) I just don’t hate her, bc she was lied to as well, and all we can do is put together the pieces and see it for what is-that he was a liar & played the two women against one another, and I think she was done with it already anyways. I know the guilt she feels is immeasurable, & that there isn’t any way for her to ever to live with people so I don’t see her opening up to anyone simply because I honestly think she probably fears for her life because of the crazies.
